Sudarshan Gears

Straight bevel gears have, as implied in their name, a straight tooth form cut parallel to the cone axis, which if extended would pass through a point of intersection on the shaft axis. Bevel gears are normally mounted on shafts that are at 90° to each other, but bevel gears can be designed for other angles.
